My Yoga journey started 13 years ago with Hatha Yoga and as I continued to practice, my body and mind craved more of the connection they had started to make. Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Power Yoga and Restorative practices quickly fueled my desire to become a teacher of Yoga.
My certifications and additional course training's have helped me round out the following Yoga Disciplines: Hatha Flow, Power Flow, Power Sculpt, 26 & 2 Hot (105 degrees), Restorative, Gentle Yoga, Children's Yoga and Prenatal Yoga.
No matter what your level is, and we have two Beginner Gentle Yoga classes each day, it will be honored and respected. The benefits go far beyond the actual motions in the classroom and will positively impact all areas of your life.
I invite you to take a look at this article as it perfectly answers the question Why Yoga? and is written by Marilyn Wei, MD, JD, Contributor

I am very proud and excited to bring a full Yoga Studio to Batesville. Over the past 6 years my path has taken me here several times to visit with family, and during each visit I noticed the city growing but holding close to their heart a strong sense of community spirit. To me the fabric of the community is where real life experiences occur and we would like to be woven into Batesville's tapestry.

Jordan Taverner
I was born and raised in the mountains of southwest Virginia. While attending the College of William and Mary, I obtained my RYT-200 certification from Yoga Alliance in the styles of Hatha, Bikram, and Vinyasa Flow.
In my own practice, yoga has allowed me to explore and repair the connection between my mind and body.
I am passionate about making these benefits accessible to students of all skill levels, and I am especially excited to work with those who are just beginning their yoga journey.
Please contact me at the below email address to book a private session.

Caitlin Andryka
I am originally from Western Pennsylvania but began my yoga journey after moving to Huntington, WV in 2014. I completed my RYT-200 at Brown Dog Yoga in Huntington in 2016.
Yoga has been a wonderful addition to my life and has introduced me to so many new people and new experiences.
Outside of yoga I work full time as a physician assistant. I enjoy traveling, and spending time with my husband and our two golden retrievers.
I hope to bring the same joy and acceptance I have experienced through yoga to this community.

I have lived in Batesville for 25 years and I am married with two children and two grandchildren.
I have enjoyed learning and growing in my personal practice for the past 15 years.
My sincere love for yoga and the multitude of benefits it offers for my mind ,body and healing has lead me to pursue my goal of teacher training with Yoga-7 to be completed in the fall of 2020.
I am grateful for the opportunity to share my passion with others and watch them grow in their own practice.

IraLee Barnett
My name is Ira Lee Barnett, born and raised in the great state of Arkansas. I am a lover of my kiddos, music, all things vintage, Jesus, and the outdoors.
I am so excited to become a part of the Yoga 7 studio. Having just completed my training I am ready to help the people around Batesville with their practice.
Yoga has quite literally changed my life. I have suffered with clinical depression (along with a laundry list of other mental health conditions) throughout adulthood. The daily struggle to push past all the symptoms of depression has worn me down more times than I can count. However, upon adapting to a yogic lifestyle I am medicine free for the first time in over 2 decades. Through a daily meditation practice, consistent attendance in classes, and a healthier, yogic diet I have been able to transform my life. The effects are truly unreal!
My hope as a teacher is to share the progress I’ve made and the tools I’ve learned.
Yoga is said to be over 5000 years old, there is a reason it is still practiced worldwide, it works!
The power we posses is real, we just have to learn how to unlock it to our full potential. We are better than accepting what life has dealt us, we are stronger than we know, we are more than what our mind tells us, we aren’t too stiff, too old, too heavy, too anything to reap the benefits this philosophy has to offer. We are exactly where we need to be.
It would be an honor to teach a class for you. Let yoga 7 help you in your journey to true health and happiness.
Love and blessings, namaste.
