My Yoga journey started 18 years ago with Hatha Yoga and as I continued to practice, my body and mind craved more of the connection they had started to make. Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Power Yoga and Restorative practices quickly fueled my desire to become a teacher of Yoga.
My certifications and additional course training's have helped me round out the following Yoga Disciplines: Hatha Flow, Power Flow, Power Sculpt, 26 & 2 Hot, Restorative, Gentle Yoga, Children's Yoga and Prenatal Yoga. In 2021 I added Pilates to my teaching toolbelt to round out the connection between discipline and strength. Recently I have completed a Trauma Conscious Yoga certification as well and additional 300 hours of Yoga training.
No matter what your level is, and we have two Beginner Gentle Yoga classes each day, it will be honored and respected. The benefits go far beyond the actual motions in the classroom and will positively impact all areas of your life.
I invite you to take a look at this article as it perfectly answers the question Why Yoga? and is written by Marilyn Wei, MD, JD, Contributor

I am very proud and excited to bring a full Yoga Studio to Batesville. Over the past 6 years my path has taken me here several times to visit with family, and during each visit I noticed the city growing but holding close to their heart a strong sense of community spirit. To me the fabric of the community is where real life experiences occur and we would like to be woven into Batesville's tapestry.

I am originally from Western Pennsylvania but began my yoga journey after moving to Huntington, WV in 2014. I completed my RYT-200 at Brown Dog Yoga in Huntington in 2016.
Yoga has been a wonderful addition to my life and has introduced me to so many new people and new experiences.
Outside of yoga I work full time as a physician assistant. I enjoy traveling, and spending time with my husband and our two golden retrievers.
I hope to bring the same joy and acceptance I have experienced through yoga to this community.

I have lived in Batesville for 25 years and I am married with two children and two grandchildren.
I have enjoyed learning and growing in my personal practice for the past 15 years.
My sincere love for yoga and the multitude of benefits it offers for my mind ,body and healing has lead me to pursue my goal of teacher training with Yoga-7 to be completed in the fall of 2020.
I am grateful for the opportunity to share my passion with others and watch them grow in their own practice.

Kellee Fletcher
I grew up in southern Kentucky but have called Batesville home since 2000
My initial interest in yoga began as I was seeking healthy ways to deal with the stresses of a demanding career.
I joined the studio here in 2019 beginning a regular practice supporting my desire for more balance in my life. In August 2023, I became a registered yoga teacher and began teaching in the same, supportive community that has blessed me with so many friends.
I hope you will join us in the studio and explore the therapeutic benefits yoga can offer to your life.
