Class Description
Very detailed instruction is given for all levels of classes so every student can gain experience and deepen their practice with proper alignment and confidence. Feel free to ask any questions before or after a class.
LEVEL 1 Beginner Series
Introductory class for the person who is new to the concept of Yoga. This class introduces fundamental yoga postures, teaches you how to breathe, and helps you feel more comfortable in yoga.
No prior yoga experience is required. Modifications will be offered to students if needed.
LEVEL 2
This class is the next step after Level 1. You will flow through sequences of traditional Sun Salutations and standing postures, linking breath with movement and building strength and endurance. Level 2 is also a good choice if you have been away from the practice for some time and would like to revisit the basics before moving on to the Mixed Level Flow series. Modifications will be offered if needed.
Mixed Level Flow Level 2 & 3
Incorporating beginner level postures with new and slightly advanced postures, modifications are always provided as the intensity increases from Level 1 to Level 2 series. Challenge your beginner practice with this next level. Please check the schedule as some classes are heated.
Power Yoga Sculpt 45 Heated! Level 2&3 Heated and non heated are offered.
Mixing traditional yoga poses with hand weights; you'll get a great workout whether you are a seasoned practitioner or a newcomer. By having the ability to increase or decrease the amount of weight you use, you are always able to make it more or less challenging. One of the best things about the class is that you can always modify your practice. You can even do the class without weights and still benefit! This class is heated and is 45 minutes.
Tension Release Class
The yoga pose sequence helps to release tension in some of the most common areas of the body: the neck, shoulders, and hips. To maximize the benefits of this routine, I encourage you to “stop, breathe, and observe” in each pose, finding your tension and releasing it into strength and stability. All levels welcome! Classes may be heated.
Parent Child Yoga Class
Parent Child yoga creates great opportunities for bonding time, learning together and teamwork. Classes have a variety of poses, that will fit some ages better than others, but there will be something for everyone, and parent and child get to practice and learn together. We use the Yoga7Kids studio cards for all classes so your child will pick the poses and the sequence. Fun!
